Honoring LCPL Thomas James Hart III
Operation: Raise the Roof Honors Vietnam Veterans Day by Installing 22nd Free Roof for LCPL Thomas James Hart III on Thursday, March 30th, from 11:00am – 1:00pm in Salisbury, MD
In honor of Vietnam Veterans Day, Operation: Raise the Roof and Valor Home will install a free roof for LCPL Thomas James Hart III, a proud and courageous veteran who served his country from 1965 to 1966.
LCPL Hart, born and raised in a military family in Watertown, New York, grew up watching his father, a US Army soldier, serve and protect his country. He joined the Marine Corps at 18 years old and fought bravely during the Battle of Hill 484, also known as Landing Zone Mack.
Operation: Raise the Roof is committed to giving back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country. By installing free roofs for veterans in need, Operation: Raise the Roof aims to improve the quality of life for these heroes and their families.
Fellow Vietnam Veteran and co-founder of Valor, Al Kincaid said, “It is our honor to pay tribute to LCPL Thomas James Hart III and all the brave men and women who served in the Vietnam War. Their selflessness and sacrifice will never be forgotten, and we are proud to give back to those who have given so much to our country.”
